Witchcraft and Ritual Magic
It has been a great week for me. Life is starting to flow in the city, and I had a great lunch at a patio. How sweet are things when you have been out of them for a long time.
This issue, Heka-ICRE, brings you two wonderful articles from Arthur Curtis and Sonia Smith.

Our witch Sonia is going deeper into answering what is a witch. You will probably feel identified if you were a magical kid, just like me.
Arthur is sharing a ritual about ECI, Erotic Crystallization Inertia, that you can just do on the spot. I have tried this kind of working myself and I got amazing results. You can bring back the joy or the energy from your former years. What could be better than that?
Bringing the Past Forward
Erotic Crystallization Inertia (ECI)
By Arthur Curtis
Among other places, I learned about Erotic Crystallization Inertia (ECI) through the Temple of Set. It also featured prominently in Anton LaVey’s The Devil’s Notebook. If you are unaware of how this magic works, but would like to resolve some of your feelings about an event from the past, ECI might be in order.
“If only I could return to the past to [fill-in the blank].” Have you ever asked yourself that question? I have. While in some ways you can ‘go back’ to the ‘past’, let’s leave that for another article. This one talks about bringing the past forward, to where you are now.
Witchdom of the True
What is Witchcraft? Part 2
By Sonia Smith
Going forward now after my last article asking questions about “What is Witchcraft?”.
So we shall explore what makes a person a witch in this article. Further articles will cover aspects of being a witch and the magical connections that come from that.
Many of us are brought up in environments that are not conducive to allowing the Self to express itself. By that I mean as children we often know our True Self and then we get sidetracked as parents, religious doctrines, school teachers, and society in general block that connection with other information and societal pressures. We begin to forget our Selves.
